Our Worship Style
At Community United Methodist Church, our worship is rooted in Scripture, shaped by tradition, and open to the movement of the Holy Spirit today. We gather as the body of Christ to praise God through a thoughtful blend of traditional hymns and contemporary music, led by piano and organ. Together, we pray, sing, listen, and respond to God’s Word in worship that is both meaningful and accessible.

Our sermons are Bible‑based and Christ‑centered, inviting us to reflect deeply on God’s grace and to live faithfully in the world God so loves. Each act of worship is offered with care, reverence, and joy, welcoming all into the life of the church. We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month, joyfully welcoming all who seek Christ to share in this holy meal. On those Sundays, worship is followed by a potluck luncheon as an extension of our table fellowship. Every Sunday after worship, we gather for coffee and conversation, continuing our shared life in Christian community.

Whether you are a lifelong believer or new to faith, we invite you to worship with us, to be nourished by Word and Sacrament, and to find a place of welcome among God’s people.
